3 Ways You Can Log in to Your cPanel Account
Unknown to many cPanel users, there are actually multiple ways to log in to the cpanel accounts.
Knowing several ways of logging in to the cPanel account can save one the hassle of contacting their hosting provider whenever they want to access their account.
Most hosting providers will also send the cPanel login credentials to the users when they purchase web hosting services or upon request.
How to Login to the cPanel
Method 1: cPanel log in using the Server IP Address Or the Server Host Name
In shared hosting, the server IP is usually sent alongside the cPanel login credentials.
In case you are not sure, you can use online tools to check the IP address of the server you are on.
For example, by typing the URL https://dnschecker.org/#A/gan.co.ke one can check the DNS settings of their domain names.
To Login follow these simple steps:
- Enter the IP address or the server hostname and the service port 2083 in the browser (for example, https://151.80.4.15:2083 or https://gra110.truehost.cloud:2083 )
- Enter the username and the password in the field provided
- Click Log in
This method is ideal especially when one does not have an active domain name or the domain DNS has not yet propagated.
Method 2: Log in to the cPanel with the domain name
To log in using an active domain name follow these simple steps:
- Enter the domain name and the service port 2083 or the domain name forward slash cPanel in the browser (for example https://gan.co.ke:2083/ or https://gan.co.ke/cPanel )
- Enter the username and the password in the field provided
- Click Log in
Method 3: One Click Login from your client area /Client Account
One can also log in to their cPanel directly from their Client area. This is the easiest way if one does not remember their cPanel login credentials.
The following steps apply:
- Login to your client area.
- Navigate to My Products & Services
- Click the active hosting package you would like to log in to
- Under Manage Account and scroll down to cPanel. Click on it to automatically login
